About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Looking for someone who can teach me about philosophy! :)
ABOUT ME
I was born Upper Austria, but now living, working and studying in Vienna. I spend a lot of my spare time in the opera, or in nature, or with my friends in a pub!
I love meeting new people although I'm not outgoing and rather shy, so this is sometimes a problem, since I don't talk much, especially when there are more people together...;)
PHILOSOPHY
A room without books is like a body without a soul (Marcus Tullius Cicero)
Things you own, end up owning you (Fight Club)
A good traveller has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving (Lao Tzu)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm always glad when I can help (and when people help me:)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted several people by now (also from Hospitality Club) - from Peru, Mexico, Germany, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Australia, Turkey, Hungary, Sweden, France, U.S.A., Korea, Serbia, England, Indonesia, Colombia, Spain and it has always been a great experience! The same when other people hosted me in Germany, Spain, Hungary and Bulgaria!
And I have made great experiences also travelling!
Interests
I love being in the nature - or on standing place in the opera! And I love learning languages, especially because it's the best way to get to know other cultures! And of course travelling!
I love working as a translator, since I can do it anywhere and at anytime!
My favourite sports are hiking, cycling, badminton, and cross-country skiing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Galsan Tschinag
The best writer ever, because of him I fell in love with Mongolia. I've been there with the nomads five times by now, and I'll go there many more times! His German is incredibly beautiful and creative, you notice that he loves the language! And I have been so lucky to meet him in person, also together with his tribe, the best experience ever for me! You should read "Der blaue Himmel" - The Blue Sky
I have also been reading non fiction lately, mostly political, my favourites are Fabian Scheidler - 'The End of the Megamachine' and Noam Chomsky.
Music: opera, Roxette
