About Me

Do you believe in gravity?

---

Originally from Israel, currently living in Amsterdam.

Always traveling :}

Writer, English teacher, youth counselor, community volunteer, farmer - among many other esoteric occupations.

Been around the world to a few places already, but it's only the beginning.

Always want to meet new people, always want to expend my consciousness, always want to have more beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"... it's during those times, while traveling, that I find other things like the world, or the way that people live to be wholly beautiful and wonderful. They become very dear to me. I want to learn more about them, and I think that's probably why I travel... "
~ Kino's Journey

Interests

My passion and main expression of art is through writing. Currently working on my main project of writing an epic high-fantasy novel.

If you wanna read articles from my fantasy world: https://www.worldanvil.com/w/album-rikia

I'm fascinated by any form of art and always looking to learn from fellow artists.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music

Just so happen to have the best indie playlist on Spotify - Kathi's Weed (feel free to follow wink wink). Other than that I'm into most music genres in several languages.

Books

Never-ending Story is the first book I loved. The Name Of The Wind drew me in so deep I couldn't put it down. Also anything Terry Pratchett or Neil Gaiman.

Movies

The Last Samurai gave me shivers when I first saw the movie, and Chaplin's The Great Dictator still does. Old Boy messed me up. Kill Bill inspired me.

Comics and Manga

JoJo no Kimyouna Bouken
Hunter X Hunter
Vagabond
Records of Ragnarok

Just started reading Saga

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Battled a falcon. It won.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you have a special place in your heart for languages like I do, we're probably gonna get along well. That's not a prerequisite, just a plus.

I also like to talk about the depth of human interaction and the function of 'emotional intelligence'. These subjects are the most important elements of getting along with people.

I'd mostly want us to learn together and most importantly listen to your life's story.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking delicious food, providing outstanding company and making sweet memories.
