About Me

I am passionate about England where I have spent a year as an Au Pair when I was 20 to learn more about the English language and culture. During this year I met a lot of foreigners and discovered many different habits and cultures, what really helped me open my mind and increased my curiosity on the diversity the world has to offer.
I haven't travelled much yet, but I have many plans for the coming years.
I am not quite sure what I wanna do with my life, but all I want to think about for now, is how to make the best out of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing in order to know about the events around me and to get to know new people.
I have never stayed at someone's place but would like to experience it. I am also very ashamed of the fact that I have never had the chance to host anyone for the simple reason that I am unfortunately not allowed - by my live in landlady - to have people over night.

Interests

My main interests are Languages, photography and the environment.
I love taking pictures at any occasion, sharing them with my friends and family and printing them out to put them in a photo album which, again, I love showing to my family or just watching to remember some good old memories and to motivate myself to live, enjoy and explore more of the world arround me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have any favourite music.
But the films that marked me the most so far are The Green Mile, Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream and I also quite love Ghibli Studio's films.

Concerning books, I loved 'When I was five I killed myself' by Howard Butten, and 'Métaphysique des Tubes' by Amélie Nothomb (who's other first books pleased me a lot too)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving, wild camping, hiking ... I am a really optimistic and enthusiastic person so I tend to think that everything I do or see is amazing !

Teach, Learn, Share

I am just really curious about nearly everything, pretty chatty and easy going so I guess we can all learn from each other by going with the flow.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, England, Ireland, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland, South Africa

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, France
