About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel as much as i can

ABOUT ME

I won't describe myself as a talkative guy, but i really like to have long and deep talks. The best : long walk with a long talk.
Like most of the couchsurfers i really enjoy travelling. But when i say travelling is going to a foreign country and meet people from the place. That's the way i travel. I'm always more eager to understand day to day life than visit museums. Let's say that i'm an observer.

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing great comes easy!

Interests

Music, i started learning cavaquinho (the brazilian model) in september 2012 and used to play drums in a reggae band a few years ago. I love spending my time reading and watching movies at the cinema (5 movies per week).Chatting and walking at the same time by Paris. But right now, i'm really into Cavaquinho and Brazilian music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy too to listen to brazilian music, specially tarditional Choro ( like Jacob do Badolim), old and classical samba like Nelson Cavaquinho, and most of the 70's MPB.
Also like quiet tunes like Emiliana Torrini and Ray Lamontagne. Of course French music like Gainsbourg,FFF, Florent Marchet, General Electriks, Alexis HK, Arthur H, Camille BAZBAZ, Oxmo Puccino, Java, Bumcello and -M-. Spanish Bands like "ElBicho", Ojos de Brujo", "Macaco", "O'Fnkillo", "Mala Rodriguez".
Love watching movies, so i cannot give just one name.
The last movies i enjoyed are : The white Ribbon (M. Haneke), No one knows about persian cats (B. Ghobadi), A serious man (Coen Brothers), Mother (Joon-Ho Bong), Un Prophète (Jacques Audiard).About music, i'm fond of Fela Kuti and all the new Afrobeat bands like Antibalas, Akoya, Kokolo, Fanga, Kuti's sons and (of course) Tony Allen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One night in a mexican beach (maruata in Michoacan) i enjoyed a Turtle's laying. Then, a few minutes after i had the opportunity to help little turtles going out of their nest.
My last experience was my 550km hiking between Santillana del mar in Cantabria (Spain) and Santiago de Compostela in Galicia (Spain) on The Way of St.James. The hiking is just an experience on itself. Wonderfull landscapes and more than an physical effort it's a Spiritual journey. I didn't do that in a religious purpose, but walking during 3 weeks is a unique travel in your own soul and a real encounter with yourself. A Great Experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French, and Spanish a bit of portuguese (but it's not been updated since a while). Share opinions about movies, music and politics. Wants to discovers new music styles...
