ABOUT ME
I'm a 26yr old music-lover living in College Station, Texas...home of Texas A&M. Music is the center of my world, but when I'm not attending the latest concert or festival, I'm hiking the trails around town, out on the lake, or reading one of the many books still unread on my shelf.
I am going back to school in the fall(2009), and hope to be a teacher when I'm FINALLY done. I very much enjoy meeting new people, making new connections, and learning from others' experiences. I'm a very laid back, and open person. Hope to meet some cool folks!

adam was gracious enough to host me for a night after the mile high music festival in denver. i'm currently planning on two visitors myself for sxsw. so exciting!

Music, Movies, and Books
It would take more space than I have here to list all the music I love, but my top 3 are Pink Floyd, The Black Crowes, and The Grateful Dead. But that doesn't even begin to scratch the surface.
I love movies that make me think and/or laugh. Into the Wild(my favorite), Pi, I Heart Huckabees, Donnie Darko, Boondock Saints, Tommy Boy, Maria Full of Grace, The Motorcycle Diaries...the list goes on..
Oh books...so many I've read, so many left to open. Into the Wild, Go Ask Alice, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Life of Pi, A Million Little Pieces, Reefer Madness
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have traveled to both Honduras and Costa Rica to work with children. Both times have left me humbled. Its amazing how happy, and how fulfilled people can be by such simple things. Everyone was so welcoming, and couldn't wait to show us around, and teach us how they do things.
One of my most vivid memories is sitting in the makeshift dining hall, only dimly lit by a couple candles because they shut the generator off at 8pm. Two of my friends, and two of the locals were sitting around and playing guitar. They taught us how to sing some of their songs in Spanish. There was such a connection from a simple song, and everyone could feel it.
