About Me
ABOUT ME
I just finished my studies in Economics and moved to Vienna to start working. So, I guess, I'm still getting to know the city ;-) What else? Well, I guess I'm a relatively open-minded person. I love sharing my knowledge and passions and I like it when people share their's with me. If you spend too much time with me, you might realize that academia has left its quirky/ nerdy marks on me. But I think I made it out of there without too much permanent scarring :)
PHILOSOPHY
Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans. (John Lennon)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Signed up (long, long time ago) because I wanted to host, but ended up surfing in a couple of places instead. Unfortunately my living situation was never ideal for hosting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not saying anything about that.
a) There are too many.
b) People judge to easily about other people's tastes without bothering to ask the crucial question "WHY do you like that"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen SO many amazing places that I don't know where to begin... I've seen sun beams get lost in the maze between the cloudforest-hills in Ecuador, hundreds of hot air balloons rise into the morning sky in Mexico, I've done rafting and canopying in Colombia, climbed the world's highest active volcanoe, enjoyed the beautiful, gold-glistening beaches in Tayrona, walked through the world's deepest canyon (in Peru's rain season =( ), spent night's dancing in the best Salsa clubs in a LOT of Latin American cities... and so on...
Teach, Learn, Share
Viajar es marcharse de casa,
es dejar los amigos
es intentar volar;
volar conociendo otras ramas
recorriendo caminos
es intentar cambiar.
Viajar es vestirse de loco
es decir "no me importa"
es querer regresar.
Regresar valorando lo poco
saboreando una copa,
es desear empezar.
Viajar en sentirse poeta,
escribir una carta,
es querer abrazar.
Abrazar al llegar a una puerta
añorando la calma
es dejarse besar.
Viajar es volverse mundano
es conocer otra gente
es volver a empezar.
Empezar extendiendo la mano,
aprendiendo del fuerte,
es sentir soledad.
Viajar es marcharse de casa,
es vestirse de loco
diciendo todo y nada en una postal.
Es dormir en otra cama,
sentir que el tiempo es corto,
viajar es regresar.
(Gabriel Garcia Marquez)
