ABOUT ME

I just returned home a year ago after 6 years working, living and having fun aboard cruise ships. After all that it has been really hard to make friends again around Lisbon.
I am a person who puts family first in all situations, although I'm also very social. I think I kind of lost the practice of engaging with new people. I'm looking forward to go back to the CS's meetings.

PHILOSOPHY
Vegan in a learning process. I still open an axception for a piece of cheese or chocolate, although I quit milk for many years now.
I love animals. I think I have better animal skills than people skills, but who cares? This is not an enterview.

I am also a massage therapist and I do believe in the healing powers of touch. Hey,no dodgy stuff,only therapeuthic, please.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to share my time with foreign people, and show them what best my contry has. I'm trying to get information about what I can do to be more participative in the cs project

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a very good experience with sc. I only hosted once, a nice french boy for 2 nights, and we travelled to the west side of the country. It was very good to discover ericeira with him.
Till now I only surfed two couches in Porto and two other couches in Madrid. I can't wait to start surfing foreign couches since my last travels were provided by the cruise ships I've worked at.

Interessi

I'm very interested in traveling, discovering different kinds of food, ways of living, and on taking pictures of people and places. I also like scubadiving, so I'm really interested on meeting new places to scubadiving or snorkeling.
I love the sea and all activities that come with it. Any activity that involves water, actually... and wellbeing.

30 seconds to mars, blink 182, angels and airwaves, the klaxons, the dears, the organ, david fonseca, coldplay, florence and the machine, delphic...
pretty much everything, dependingon the mood.
ok, better to tell you what kinds of music I don't appreciate: too heavy metal, brazilian and latino. also not a big fan of jazz.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I've been in erasmus programme, and it was the most amazing thing i've done in my life. I traveled a lot, and met a lot of people and ways of living.

Ok, updating in 2019:
I worked onboard cruise ships for 6 years, met hundreds of people from different nationalities, and said goodmorning to more than 100 people that I knew daily. That was in fact the most amazing thing I was able to do, apart from all the amazing countries I have seen.
I visited roughly 80 countries and still prefer mine to settle. There's no place like home.

Insegna, impara, condividi

I want to learn how to close my eyes and just feel people, not see people. I want to share the places of my country with foreign people.
I can teach you some portuguese, some massage techniques and I can share my time with you if you share yours too. I will even share my meal with you if you need. Just don't steal the last piece of gruyere cheese from my plate.

My travel tips and experiences. I can also cook... if you need. I will definitely wash the dishes.
