ABOUT ME

I love nature...trees, mud, snow, rain, gardening, Hiking, backpacking, canoeing, birding, observing, being...

I have a current obsession with chai tea, clearanced christmas chocolate, scarves, pine needles, making soap from bacon fat, and microfleeces (they are just so light weight yet soo warm!), learning to tile/plumb/mix concrete/ and other associated bathroom renovation skills.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe there are two kinds of people in the world, Those i like, and those i haven't met yet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Happy to host when I am available and meeting people from near or far for a cafe cup of joe or porter at the pub and some engaging conversation. I love Dayton, Ohio and am happy to share its natural and cultural gems with you. Also Wonderlust is in my blood and I would like to travel again soon....I hope to utilize other friendly couches when that time comes. I believe greatly in the power of passing kindness on, and that good things will come back around even if indirectly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Went on road trip out to Montana/California/Nevada/Wyoming/NorthDakota/Minnesota a few years back on very little funds and a bag of trail mix. I met some of the most amazing people along the way (many strangers) who were willing to help me and my 3 girlfriends out even though we had just met. It truly solidified my belief in the good of humanity. From the lady, who offered to let us camp in her back yard, to the guy who saw 4 girls looking lost on a street corner in San Fransisco and gave them a tour of the city.

Interessi

Jorge and I love the outdoors - from gardening, nature observation, to outdoor recreations. After a good day of play, we relax with a home brew. Music, dancing, good food, living and loving life.
