I'm a 23 year old woman from San Diego, CA.

In my free time, I'm usually on the computer, reading a fantasy or young adult book (and sometimes just straight-up fiction), working on my new blog about San Diego (which is ironic, since I'm traveling away from SD), or geeking out about craft beer or crafting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for most of my week and a half long stay in Seattle and it was a great experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've always been interested in young adult novels, specifically young adult fantasy. There is something about coming-of-age stories involving fighting dragons and using magic that always appealed to me. Aside from YA stories, I love science fiction on the more sociological side of things. One of my favorite authors is Ursula K Le Guin. Another great author is Margaret Atwood.

I've been straying into different genres lately in music. I just recently started getting into electro-type things (see, I don't even know the right terminology for it). I like the band Sleigh Bells, for example. Otherwise, the music I listened to most the past few years has been hardcore, screamo, and ska, with some dabbling in quieter indie music like Pinback and Death Cab for Cutie. I also had a pop punk phase in high school.
