About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have guitar, will travel.

ABOUT ME

I've had the great fortune to be able to live many places growing up and to find a line of work I love that takes me to so many of the beautiful natural places -- for the last 4 years I have been working building and maintaining trails within the National Parks system and searching for adventure between seasons.

PHILOSOPHY

I heard Ernesto Cardenal in a poetry reading say (trans.) , "From cosmic dust we come, and to cosmic dust we will return." That made me think, though, that really, on the cosmic scale, we _are_ dust... rather intricately organized... dust, water, and light...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mostly been travelling and working, and not really able to surf or host very much! Mostly, CS has been helpful finding new friends in the places I am moving to!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've gone on a few day-adventures with folks from couchsurfing, again, not having much opportunity to provide a hosting situation.
