About Me

Traveler, artist and architect from Istanbul. My life passion is traveling as much as I can to see as much of the world as possible. I love learning about different cultures and their people, exploring around, trying new drinks and foods, enjoying a local pint in a small and warm pub or sharing drinks with locals in a cozy living room.

I tried CS first during my Erasmus year in Germany and loved the community, the philosophy and the stories it creates. Currently as of 2024 I am living in my hometown Istanbul and full time working while learning French and planning my Masters in Europe. Of course I do not have as much time while working as I had back in my student days but still trying to embrace every opportunity I have to go out and see new places, be it a new country, a new city or even a new neighborhood I can drag myself into...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To expand my repertoire of life; meeting new people, listening to their stories and learning about their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of the few things I never get bored in my life, I listen to alt rock, post rock, prog rock, indie , sometimes metalcore etc. but mostly rock 🎧.
I read a wide variety of books from thrillers to fantasy, Grangé, Dan Brown, Tolkien, GRRM, sometimes classics. Okay with most movies but I like the masterpieces of 90-2000s, and Nolan A LOT.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once on another low-budgeted night in Rotterdam with some friends, we had to spend the night on one of the tables outside a McDonalds because we were kicked trying to sleep inside :/ Met with a beggar and some other people outside, spent the night talking and laughing. Sometimes unlucky and unexpected events give you the best experiences of your life :)
