About Me
When travelling I basically look for new challenges and things I haven't experienced before. This includes outdoor activities (especially when they include sports), new ways to enjoy music or movies, philosophical views, meeting different kinds of people or even just a new cooking recipe.
I also like to get to know the "mood" in places I visit. How are people acting in their everyday lives, how are they moving around, how does the city feel? Those things are amazing to experience, but sometimes way harder to find than typical touristy places. But I still keep looking...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is amazing how many different interesting people I've met in my brief couch surfing time so far. Everyone had their own way of life and their very specific story to tell.
You learn so much more about a country by meeting people who are open minded and willing to show you their own view on the city and their culture. This is awesome and that's why I like couchsurfing so much.
Also it saves a lot of money for more important activities during you travels ;)
Interests
I'm trying to do everything I like to do, which is many different things. I do a lot of sports and like to use my body (as long as I'm still young and able to try all kinds of movements).
On the other hand I really like singing. It sometimes is a kind of meditation and is an awesome way to smoothen one's soul from time to time. And there are not many things that can touch you like classical music - if you're willing to let it touch you.
Besides that I'm really into all kinds of technology. Depending on the area it ranges from interested to absolute nerd. But I can't help it, it just thrills me to keep up with what's going on in tech news.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are too many of these to name them all. I really like movies with a twist that get you thinking. Wheter it's a documentary or a clever comedy move doesn't matter too much - as long as it's thought through or has details you only get when really paying attention.
To give you examples for that: The naked Gun (and basically all other Leslie Nielsen movies); Fight Club (and the other Fincher movies); Desperado; Scott Pilgrim vs. the World; Mad Max;
Series include Rick and Morty, Futurama, GoT (obviously), Sherlock or Archer.
With music it's even wilder. I like strong beats, Jazz, Classic Rock, Reggae, Chill Hop, Classical music and many more. The only exception is most pop songs because what do most of them give you so that you really remember them for a long time? Exactly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Coming to Seattle as a 19 year old who just finished (german) High School and experiencing the most heartwarmingly nice CS host was super awesome!
If people are genuinely nice to people they barely know it gives me the creeps - but in a positive way!
Teach, Learn, Share
Oh I'm open to learning new stuff. Show me your way and I'm willing to follow and discuss. If I can show you something too - also cool.
I like leaving a place smarter than I was before I came there. The more wide spread one's knowledge can be, the better!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Be open to new ways of life and other views, discuss and explain why you do things the way you do them and be open to critics and other standpoints.
I'm open to that. I very much like to see your way of life and share mine with you. If we don't agree on everything that's absolutely cool and if we get the chance to argue about that in a civilised manner I'm a happy man.
But if you don't want to do that - that is also super ok. Do it your way and share what you like to share - I'm fine with it.
