ABOUT ME

We love learning about other cultures, subcultures, people, and places. We live vicariously through those we meet along the way!

Erin loves teaching, reading, running, hiking, dancing, cooking, yoga, and spending time with the amazing community up here. Nothing beats a good cup of coffee on a cool summer morning in Central Oregon!

Ron is busy saving the world, lobbying for social justice, reading, writing, freestyling, cooking, and teaching drum lessons. He also indulges in way too much pop culture news. Nothing beats a pint at O'Kanes.

Update: We welcomed Dylan Elizabeth Mariko into our family in November. She is such a joy, and we can't wait to explore the world with her.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have traveled to Europe and in the States through CS. We have also hosted several surfers in our spare room Let us know if you'll be in town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our best memories were had in Europe as we got to know our gracious hosts. We loved taking them out to their favorite places, places we never would have found on our own. It has also been a pleasure to welcome people to Bend: go on art walks, explore the Cascade mountains, eat good food, and check out Deschutes Brewery.
