ABOUT ME

This is Geraldine hijacking/ updating Brian's old Couchsurfing page. Oh so much as changed since we were both traveling with couchsurfing as individual students! We are now a small family of three and have immigrated from the United States to The Netherlands.

Interests

Brian- Education is probably the biggest interest for me. I work with children with autism right now and am looking towards education next. Film and image design are big interests right now as well. Big fan of exploring, religions, photography, drums, guitar and a bit of sport. I bounce back and forth between being fascinated and horrified by the things the human mind comes up with and believes in and riding a wave of "fuck it lets ride".

Music, Movies, and Books

Brian- you know, the good stuff. As I type this Im listening to Iron and Wine. Also enjoy Carl Jung, Requiem for a Dream, Lynch, Mars Volta, the Streets, Steppenwolf (the book and band), most Kubrick, Mumford & Sons, Sigur Ros, and some other things. Big Dylan fan, Lynch, Mos Def, Dead Prez, Tool, Cat Power, Zeppelin, funnel cake, Beatles, paper airplanes, the sound of my van, a box of donuts.

Geraldine- The Burning Hell, First Aid Kit... Brian calls my music taste "literary rock". I like reading anthropology and currently in the realm of death/ burial right now.

Aeon (9)- My favorite movies are always the last two I watched- Dumb and Dumber and Pikachu Detective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved across the world with a family and a couple of suitcases on a whim.

Teach, Learn, Share

Brian can teach computer programing and video game development as well as video editing. All around handy guy.

Geraldine can teach sustainable art practices like paint and paper making as well as natural dying and natural fiber preparation.

Aeon can teach you a lot about Harry Potter and patience.
