About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experience the world.
ABOUT ME
I am 23 and still growing up. I have spent a year dipping my feet into the production world, making music videos, movies, and commercials. However, I am looking to travel abroad and hope to achieve this by taking ESL courses and teaching. I also enjoy writing and photography, in some ways theses are the root of my creativity, but I play music, draw, paint and just enjoy being creative in general.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is about experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't travelled or had a suitable place in a long time, but now I am looking to work abroad.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couch surfing experience was in Vienna, Austria, with a really neat guy named Fabian. He was the first of many interesting people I have met in the couch surfing community. I now have hitch hiked across the country and stayed with a few people who showed me what sincere community and hospitality really are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer during a La Nina year, I was travelling with a photographer whom I respect greatly. We had a shoot in a remote Oregon county, Lake county to be exact. The is county was so sparsely populated that there is only one stop light in the entire county. As we drove out to this remote location, we took a wrong turn, taking the long way around the the name sake lakes in this remote location. The lakes were salt lakes, remnants from the pleiostene when the desert that surrounded us was once verdant and green. However, as we drove through, their was a desert phenomena. The sage brush, which typically is dry and dull, barely surviving the harsh environment, stood out as a rich green over a falt gold dirt. We had lost an hour of time, but we drove through this lush green desert at golden hour. Lichen growing on the cliffs, also a rich green color, caught the golden hour. Upon arriving in town, we were told that because of the increased rainfall the desert had received a rare and above average rainfall. Our unfortunate mistake had allowed us to see a wonderful aspect of nature few get to see. Instead of a silver lining, we saw a green desert.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would recommend take up an art form. It doesn't matter what you do from sewing to photography, just some way to place your thoughts and feelings into an object or event for others to see, hear, or experience.
