I'm brand new to Couchsurfing! I use this website because it reflects my vision of the future: I want to live in a world where strangers can gather together to share resources, stories, knowledge, and assistance based on pure humanity and camaraderie. I want to live in a world where social networks facilitate the connection between those who can give and those who need. I want to live in a world where trust is a more important commodity than money. I want to live in a world which is free, open, giving, caring, and full of love.

I work for a journal reviewing the medicinal values of herbs and spices. I used to be a sous chef in a New York City vegan restaurant. I sing and play jazz piano. I teach introductory yoga. I ride and fix new and old bikes. I do improv and sketch comedy. I know how to grow fruits and vegetables. I believe that everything is interesting, I like to share my skills, and I love learning new things!
