Independent and adventurous. Very easy going with a sarcastic sense of humor. Movies, music, photography and motorcycles keep me occupied. Psychology fascinates me, human nature. I'm usually up for anything if given the time.

PHILOSOPHY

To live a life true to yourself no matter what instead of a life based on expectations of other people. This is the biggest regret people have on their deathbed, that they made decisions based on what other people, society, friends and family expected of them rather than just being who they wanted to be.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been living in Los Angeles for 12 years. LA is highly eclectic with numerous subcultures existing harmoniously within a larger cultural melting pot. There is something for everyone in this town. I've lived, breathed and experienced much of it and yet there is always something new to be discovered. LA is made up of worlds within worlds and they all occupy the same place, living on top of each other bordered only by traffic jams. I don't know of any other city like this. I enjoy sharing this knowledge with people that WANT to experience it, people that would appreciate the adventure.

Movies: too many to list: Just saw Broken Embraces, great film. Also recently saw and enjoyed Biutiful and The Hours. Some of my favorites include Forrest Gump, Braveheart, Ghost, Rocky...INTERSTELLAR BLEW MY MIND.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to the top of Masada to catch the sunrise. Snow machined across a thinly frozen lake in Alaska at top speed. Hiked 10 miles into the Grand Canyon and camped on an Indian Reservation. Climbed the summit of Mt. Esja in Iceland. Had an ice cream eating contest with my dog and lost...the dog survived. That's a lot more than one:0
