ABOUT ME

I used to study music in Thessaloniki and now I'm doing my master's degree in Lübeck, Germany. Meeting new people is an exciting thing for me, especially when they come from different countries and cultures. Living alone and independently gives me the opportunity to do things I couldn't do and coughsurfing is one of them. Although I am in Germany for a short time, I have made some really good friends, something I feel lucky for.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate both as a surfer and as a host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

La Bonne Cam is a group of 8 French young people (6 boys, 2 girls) which couchsurfed in one of my friend's house. They were travelling through Europe, shooting a documentary about the lives of young Europeans and their opininion on the European Union and I was one of the Greek citizens they interviewed. Getiing to know "La Bonne Cam" turned up to be one of my most pleasant expreriences of my life. The connection between us was instant and the similarities on our way of thinking and communicating made me feel, for the first time, not only a Greek, but a European. This experience encouraged me to be a member of couchsurfing, which I did only one day later.

Generally, I really like getting to know other people, share our views and experiences, feeling like a citizen of the world.

兴趣

I study composition, which means that most of the time I'm in front of the piano writing down ideas. Also, there is always music coming out of my appartment , except, well, quiet hours...
I also enjoy travelling, exploring other civilizations, walking around the city, live music, going to the movies, sitting next to the beach, good food, hanging out with friends, exhibitions, making plans, writing, the procedure of getting to know another person.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music is my studying subject, so I find myself composing, listening to/playing music all day long. The two genres I enjoy the most are classical and rock music. I attend classical concerts very often and one of my dreams (also and ambition) is to play with an orchestra.

Imdb is my third most visited website :p I enjoy watching movies and I go to the cinema quite often. My favourite actor is definitely Philip Seymour Hoffman who left this world too soon. I like the most of his films, as well as director Thomas Anderson. Films such Magnoglia, There will be blood and the master are masterpieces. Other favourite films are: Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, One flew over the cuckoo's nest, Amadeus, Pulp fiction, A fish called Wanda, The departed, Sweeney Todd.

I feel that some writers have really affected me: Oscar Wilde, F. Nietzsche, Scott Fitzgerald, I. Yalom, Leo Buscaglia, E.A Poe. I also enjoy the H.P books and some of Agatha Cristie and Stephen King.
