ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Oscar! An aventurous chilean who left his beautiful country in 2009 for finishing his engineering degree in France. Since I arrived to France, I have met great persons, learned a lot about theirs cultures, visited beautiful places and the most important I released my current mission... Be happy! :D

I really like meeting new people and places... I have friends from all around the world, I promise one day I will go to visite all of them ^^.

About me... I would say, I am someone friendly, easy-going,open-minded who likes to enjoy simple things in life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couching.
I started to host people when I moved to Paris, even if my studio was tiny... my heart is giant so I welcomed everyone who sent me a nice request. (and of course no one with a copy-past request). I hosted people from different countries, shared a lot of stories. In general, it was a grate experience with all of them... except for one... reason why I stopped some year ago.
Now, several years after I started to host again but now in a nicer and bigger appartment (for Paris) but with the same feeling to meet new people.

Surfing:
I traveled with a friend for East Europe in the "summer" of 2011 using the the inter rail ticket, it was an amazing experience!!! we surfed in Paris, AMsterdam, Prague and Vienna, every host was very kind and friendly.

Events:
I like going to the Couchsurfing events...it is a good place to meet open-minded / traveler people.

Centres d'intérêt

My interest...let me see...¦

I enjoy watching movies, travelling, meeting new people, listening good music and recently ... reading a good book (thanks to the Paris metro, because every day it take me around 50 minutes arrive to work )

In the other hand, I'm a very critical person, who continually get informed about what happened in the world and in my country, looking for a way to have a better world :)

I'm also very interested in everything related to ancient civilization (specially Greek and Roman), when I visited Athens and Rome, it was a dream come true.

I also like history from 20th Century. With a friend we visited so many places related to the first and second world war (Berlin national museum, Auschwitz or the Oskar Schindler museum in Krakow...) each one was a very interesting reminder about what happened in the past and we should never forget.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love watching movies!, somes of my favorites are:Into the wild,La vida de los peces (a great chilien film), Batman: The Dark Knight, Forrest Gump, V de Vendetta,- Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Pulp Fiction, I am Sam, American History X, Inception, etc, etc, etc...

I listen all kind of music, it depends the moment and the place but in general i would say I like chilean music ^^ (los bunkers, chico trujillo, inti-llimani, etc, etc, etc)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

A lots of things.. but it is much better if I tell you while drinking a cofee or a beer :D
