About Me
I am not a classic tourist either as a couchsurfer or as a host. I am keen on meeting interesting and open-mind people and learn about their every-day life. When I travel I prefer to meet locals, discuss and do anything together than spending my time in museums. I want to meet each country through the people and their experiences. As a host I have exactly the same philosophy. I suggest ideas to my surfers of doing different things in Athens apart from mainstream activities. Life is short and the experience of visiting a new place is unique. Don't be a classic tourist ;)
As for the practicals, I live in a spacious apartment in which I can host easily 2 individs. Requests acceptable. The place is 10 minutes away from the metro station "Iraklio" (green line) and from there it is 15 minutes away from the city center. Of course there are beautiful neighborhoods around here too.
I also have two cats hanging around. The female one is like a ghost, you'll never understand her presence! :P And the other one (male) is trained, lovely, sociable without bothering you at all.
ps: You all racists, homo-phobics, and anyone with similar thoughts, aspects etc ARE NOT WELCOME at all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to REALLY meet people which means that everyone hosts me, (s)he is always welcome to my apartment. I hate using people solely to stay somewhere for free.
