I'm an epicure in life: I enjoy diverse diversions ranging from square dancing and acroyoga to permaculture gardening and kayaking. The wild outdoors is where I'm most comfortable; along my path I've been a naturalist educator, an herbalist and medicine cultivator, an archery instructor and sweat lodge facilitator, an organic farmer, a part-time forager, and overall, an appreciator of the patterns and chaos of the natural world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

on the Rogue River (Oregon) in the summer of 2014, a flock of geese flew close above my head in a perfect V formation as I kayaked through class 4 white water rapids. What a rush!
