Quite a long and interesting story. Growing up as a nomad, I've gotten used to moving around and not settling in one place for too long. That's pretty much have been the story of my life, mainly moving around, traveling, and living in different countries.

My family moved to Stockholm Sweden when I was 8, and being one of the few Mongolians in the world, it was necessary for me to be able to make friends from all over the world. Having studied at an international school made things a lot easier :)

For some reason, I always wanted to travel to America, so for college I ended up studying in Michigan and lived in America for about 5 years. But being a restless individual who likes exploring, I decided to backpack through America, Asia, and planning on Europe this coming year or so.

I've been promising myself to visit France and maybe live there for a few years, so we'll see how that goes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've attended a few Couchsurfing events and hosted some myself. The people you meet are amazing and they have so many stories to share.

There is so much to learn about the world and other cultures to explore. Couchsuring is a nifty application / website that allows you to get connected with people from pretty much all over the world.

So I am hoping to make new friends wherever I go and keep on learning about the world.

Interests

I like to build and develop things. Always been a little entrepreneurial and shared things with people. I suppose that's why digital / online stuff fascinates me. You can build your own reality / world in a sense there!

Other than that, if you search Orgil.B on Youtube you will find my channel where I share things about my Mongolian culture and some philosophical videos. I write and compose music when I have time as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked through Asia for 3 months. So far I've visited, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia (obviously), China, Laos, Thailand, and Malaysia.

I tried going to Serbia, but ended up spending 3 days in detention center because the immigration officials did not want to let me through...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to explore the city, so it would be amazing to share about each other's culture, language, and what not while going on a city tour or something.

Cooking with friends and sharing food is always a great way to learn about each other's cultures as well. I can make buuz, tsuivan, and some other national dish from Mongolia.
