I was born in a small village in Turkey and my wife was born in the west of Turkey in the Aegean region. I live in Kuwait with my wife the love of my life teaching here at the university. We have two Siamese cats. My wife is a chess teacher, as well as a certified laughter yoga teacher among other things. I taught English, literature, poetry and other courses at a university back in Turkey and I love to write, mainly poetry. We love to socialize and travel and have a very good social circle here in Kuwait. To put it simply we are two lucky souls who are grateful to have found each other and are very open to new ideas, cultures and experiences. We love doing Chigong, breathing, meditation and taking about everything together with each other and with everyone else that we meet.

I have an 11 year old son who lives in Turkey. We have a lot of friends and family in Turkey, mainly close to Istanbul and Izmir areas and spend quite a lot of time there, in the city and village during holidays.

I spoke only English with my son and we love to experiment with writing together, we have written two simple funny and fun rhymefull children’s books together and we also play computer games, swim and watch anime together, mainly One Piece.

The world is just what it is, with every little detail in it we love to embrace it and to see as deeply and as simply we can into it. We consider you and ourselves lucky to meet one another and to share as much as we can. Experiences are fluid and mix and mingle between beings through connection. Grateful for every moment

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

For me it has always been the people that make the place, not vice versa. It is our individual and shared experience that creates an experience of the place and the circumstances. Couchsurfing is amazing for that. I used Couchsurfing many years ago back in Turkey, that account is lost so me and my wife started this account from scratch. We love having guests over and hanging out together and would love to go to more places and meet more people and see new places. Couchsurfing is perfect for that.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can teach English, I have conversational level German and Bulgarian and can get by in Arabic. I have been practising yoga, Chi gong, breathing and cold showers for the last eight years and I would enjoy to share those experiences, theoretically or by practicing together. My wife can share her chess, laughter yoga experience. We are also kind of learned and interested in astrology so we can have fun conversations about it together. We can go to private social events together. We can show you around the city, hang out on the beaches or in the desert. We love listening to and telling stories and there are always plenty of those to share.
