Overview
About Me
After a long hiatus from Couchsurfing (including a 2 years stint in Africa, in a country where very few would visit especally since tourist visa do not exist), I'm back on the website!
I'm from Italy but spent the last 7 years living and working in other countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, which is just as well since I love to travel and get to know other cultures. Generally I work as a development aid worker (though I hate that connotation) and in my spare time I love to read, listen to music, explore the country where I'm living and...cooking! I guess that was unavoidable since I'm Italian! I also love to do yoga and photography, though my attention is very short-spanned and I always end up working on other projects (handmade soap anyone?).
Currently I'm taking a break from work and spending some time in France to learn French (and enjoy the good food and wine!).
I look forward tomeeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love stories and especially hearing stories about people, their lives, their thoughts, how they see their city and their country. Couchsurfing is a great story-telling place :)
Interests
I love love love to cook, both Italian and non-Italian dishes. Happy to have culinary exchanges with whoever!
I'm an on and off yoga practitioner, mostly trying to work on actually establishing a routine. Any tips would be very welcome :)
As for yoga, I have many interests, some of them more fleeting than others but probably because what I love the most is the element of discovery.
