ABOUT ME

I just finished lawschool, being specialized in copyright and internet law. Before taking the bar exam and become a lawyer eventually, I wish to travel around US for a while.

I spend most of my free time in movie theaters (watching new but mostly old movies) and in parties (I especially love all the sunday afternoon events on summer). I'm also part of a collective called HOOST (google us!) and which helps to lauch young musicians' carreer. So I'm a bit of a music lover too :)

I'm half Frech, half Canadian, grow up in Montreal, Lyon and finally went to Paris when I started lawschool. I'm crazy about Paris but also love Copenhagen, Istanbul, Barcelona amongst others.

I speak a bit Russian, loving Russian litterature !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm travelling alone, CS happens to be the perfect fit.

I tried it once in Brussels and ran onto a great couchsurfer who showed us parts of the city I would have never known otherwise. It was such a great experience that I really want travel this way starting from now. I really think that a trip can be so much interesting when you discover places through people who lives there.

Interests

I'm really interested by all the industries related to my studies : film / music production, books ...

Movies : I especially French movie from the 70' (Nouvelle Vague : Truffaut, Godard, Chabrol, Antonioni ...) but also love less "pretentious"-looking stuff like romantic comedies with Meg Ryan :) (I've got mail ; when harry met sally ...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, on the spur of the moment, I booked a plane ticket for Copenhagen to join a journalist friend who was working on a story about a Danish pop artist. We went on an island , located litteraly e in the middle of nowhere in order to film her working in her studio. I was supposed to play my friends' assistant and film and record with her while we were at this artist's place on this kind of danish "shutter island" :)

I can teach French. I wish to practice my English. I plan to lear italian very soon.
