Über mich
Not sure where to start... basics: French girl that lived abroad until calling Germany home.
Lots of ups and more downs made the woman I am now. Very social, outgoing, and curious, will rarely say no to an invitation for coffee or drinks and paradoxically love and need a lot of time just for myself.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I discovered CS in 2006, I was just moving from Singapore to Germany and thought that it was a great way to meet local people while traveling. On top, even without this plateform, CS was already something I was doing.
I used to be a moderator of the CS group for Rostock (Germany) and I used to organise French-speaking evenings and sometimes CS meetings when I lived in Rostock, during my PhD studies. I loved it!
That's also the time when I hosted the most and all experiences I had were great.
I have welcomed quite a few CS but since in Berlin I didn't accept requests as I was bombarded with "party people" requests all the time and felt it had lost CS essence to me.
For a couple of years I didn't CS much but started again in 2018 and would like to get back on track: meeting interesting people wherever I go (or when they are coming to me)

Musik, Filme und Bücher
"L'étranger" (Albert Camus) was my revelation. "Hitchiker guide through the galaxy" (on the edge of nerdiness)
All kind of music, really. Check nova.fr or fip.fr for my favorite French radios
Movies : those good enough to keep me sitting for 2h! (not too many)
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Life has challenged me enough so that I can say that being alive and joyful is one amazing thing I am doing.
On the fun side: My trip in Bolivia was amazing and challenging with mountain bike riding on the death road, Salar d'Uyuni, and the mines of Potosi (not fun at lot but what an experience).
As a child I went to Central Africa, in Pygmy villages.
As a teen, I went for 2 weeks on the Maroni river (between Surinam and French Guyana) on a pirogue, sleeping in hamock in the jungle.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I can teach diving, German culture under foreign eyes, smile to people in the street, sciences, French cooking...
I can share nice talk around good meal with wine, a strong coffee, a couch, a laugh...
I can learn anything you'd like to teach (dance, chess, drums, roller)
