About Me

HI EVERYONE!

My name is Oriol, but my friends call me Uri. I'm from Puigcerdà a little village in the Pyrenees in Spain. I'm studying economics in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
I enjoy talking about everything with anyone, I think everyone has a different point of view in this life so... Don't argue! Only listen and learn.
I used to play basketball when I was young with a local team in my hometown. When i went to the University I quit. I love playing videogames. I have a PS4 and I can play for hours! Maybe I'm what nowadays is called a "gamer".
Something I've recently discovered is that I love learning languages. A few months ago I started learning german and I found it so funny, and now I'm learning french. I would like to learn more languages and of course go to more countries!

Note: I don't have any recommandations because when we traveled with my friend for first time using couchsurfing we both registered in couchsurfing but we mainly used his account to message to hosts. You can check the recommandations in his profile: Francesc Marcó Canaleta.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've stayed on couchsurfing twice in a travel I made with a friend to the Netherlands. Our experience was incredible! We met an italian couple in Rotterdam and a very nice student in Eindhoven. It's very funny to share experincies and just talk to people, see how they live or what they think... So I'm on couchsurfing because I want to meet people from all around the world, and know about different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

One thing I love to do is listen to music. I go everywhere with my headphones. Some of my favourites genres are rock, indie, folk, and other types of alternative music.
When I have enough time I enjoy reading books a lot, I don't have a favourite book, but If I had to choose one it will be "The Name of The Wind-Patrick Rothfuss".
I'm not really into movies or series, the only times I watch something is just to train my ears to another languages.

Teach, Learn, Share

I expect to learn about the country I'm visiting, and also about the culture. I would like to know interesting places where I'm visiting and also meet new people. It's great to share experiencies with people from all over the world!
It would be nice too to improve my english, and if someone asks I can help with spanish.
