About Me
Hello my name is Orion. I am currently taking sometime away from my life in the states as an engineer to meet new people and experience new cultures abroad. I am a easy going fella and bring this attitude to most things in life. I love playing guitar, surfing, chatting, hiking, sharing tunes, cooking, eating, gardening, reading, doing yoga, and meditating. I am also a pretty curious human and am down to try most new things. If you share any of my interests, have something new to discuss, or any questions please reach out to me. Let’s chat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just recently patented my first product!
Teach, Learn, Share
I just learned that birds can sleep with one eye open, allowing them to rest one half of their brain while the other half surveys for potential hazards! After a few hours they switch eyes, allowing the other half their brain to rest.
Humans actually have artifacts of this trait! Ever notice that you don't sleep well in new environments? It is because the human biology is programmed to only rest half of the brain when sleeping in a foreign place. This prevents us from getting the deep sleep that we need to feel fully rested.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a fluent English speaker and an intermediate Spanish speaker. I am also a mechanical engineer with a lot of hands on fabrication skills such as carpentry, metal working, and rapid prototyping. I consider myself an easy person to get a long with and love sharing all of my interests with others.
