I love to travel, site-see and above all experience new things from other cultures. I live in a very small town in Ireland so meeting new people from different parts of world and chatting to them about their experiences is something I always look forward to :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I kick started my experience while I was living in France back in 2013 as I traveled around Europe. I have not had the opportunity to host other people yet but when I do I'll have a big mug of Irish tea to greet ye!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few couchsurfing experiences and it was great! I think its a great way for travelers to get advice off locals who obviously know the area really well and they can always point you in the right direction of the best pub!

Interests

Besides the travelling, I guess the cinema and films in general is the number one interest for me. I love films about action,war,thriller,comedy or basically anything other than romcoms!
I like sport, mainly watching international rugby games and GAA hurling and I love music, gigs and festivals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music for me is as essential. My main genre would have to be indie but I listen to all types of music from Edith Piaf to David Bowie to Ben Howard.
I try to read as much as I can but tend to always fall short but favorite books for me includes some classics such as George Orwell (1984 in particular), Austen etc.
I am also trying to throw myself into hiking a lot more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to be able to speak more languages even if its just a few words here and there and I can teach you a couple of words in the languages I know such as a few words in English, cúpla focal in Irish or quelques mots in French. :)
