Overview
About Me
Hello everybody, I'm a songwriter, actor and playwright from Turin, Piedmont, Italy. I started very early writing songs. I studied technique of singing and acting in performing schools in Turin and I got a master in D.A.M.S. (Department of Arts, Music and Performance). Further on, Mexicat Records - a little italian label - published my records. Besides I wrote dramas and plays and journey's reports as green journalist. But I consider myself as a songwriter, a performer and - last but not least - a walker.
Few years ago a managed a cultural project named "from Orlando to Santiago", meaning the will to do the whole Camino de Santiago de Compostela on my feet with the tools of the songwriter: a little portable guitar to compose songs inspired by the way and a smart phone to share the Camino, its places and stories and the many encounters along the way. An artistic and digital travel-log on the Camino. Three years on, From Orlando to Santiago has become a cd (collecting the songs composed along the way), a performing show, and is going to become a book.
I live my day by day life by teaching music and theatre and having shows, and of course by renting out a room at home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new here but I do believe in sharing economy, and its opportunities, like living a foreign city hosted by inhabitants, having experiences apart from tourism and so on.
Once, I met a man from Brixton along the way to Santiago. He was walking with a hat on his head looking like Mr. Crocodile Dundee and dressed up with rags. But he wasn't a poor at all. He earned lots of money with his job, and he told me: "When you travel, you can buy almost everything with money except for one thing: experience. Since I've been traveling by couchsurfing I've learned that the best word you can hear and say is "Welcome".
