ABOUT ME

They would probably say that I care too much and have too many interests! And keep buzzing around like a busy bee. But that I absolutely love travelling and learning about new cultures and meeting new people.
I also love the great outdoors!

Interests

If I could, I would probably travel all the time but in the down time when you have to earn that travelling money and my daughter is at school. I like doing a bit of extra travel through books, love my books! And walking on the beautiful South Downs or along the sea front. Both close by!

I do also like doing the clubbing, cinema, restaurant stuff and museums etc....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since having my daughter, travelling has become even more amazing! Whether it's travelling the length of Italy, visiting family and friends along the way or doing an around the World trip when she was 3. I was amazed at how incredibly good she was at that age spotting so much wildlife.

One of the trips, that struck us both was going to Antarctica, the way the ice sculpted itself into incredible shapes and when the sun shone, it all had a slight tinge was beyond incredible! And the penguins are absolutely adorable. I think awestruck may be the only word we could possibly use for how this continent left us!

The other place that has a magical spot in our hearts is Samoa, my daughter was three when we got there and we were accepted into village life and got to take part in village ceremonies. I felt so honoured to be there. There were so many elements that have just stayed with both of us.

Without my daughter, I think the Iguazu falls (Brazilian/Argentinian border, not too far from Paraguay) may be one of the most beautiful sights. Incredible sense of power.
