About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring the World Through Food and Adventure

ABOUT ME

I consider myself a product of an ever connected world. Born in Singapore, I have lived and worked in various countries from the USA to Hong Kong to India.

Would love to make more friends and meet more people. Tell me your stories. I wanna hear all about your adventures. And point me to some good food!

PHILOSOPHY

The world is too big to stay put in one place. It dulls your senses and narrows your perspectives. I like to experience new things and meet new people. There is always so much to learn from others. I found that one interesting way to personally get a taste of a foreign place is to literally taste it through the local crusine. I love to eat! I guess the most exotic food I have tried so far is an assortment of fried insects. Which was honestly rather tasty ahahha.

Music, Movies, and Books

One author though, has a profound influence on how I perceive life and that is Paulo Coelho. The first book I read was 13 minutes and that led me to The Alchemist and Veronika Decides to Die. His books make me feel like exclaiming the joy of life and yet feel the anguish of pain that being alive brings sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking down boulevards of sakura in full bloom in Japan.

Exploring the ruins of the old city of Bagan in Burma.

Scuba diving in the amazing waters of Malaysia.

Caught the sunrise on top of Mt Haleakalā of Maui on Hawaii.

Get lost in the markets of India.
