About Me

Hi there! My name is Artem. I was born and raised in Volgograd, Russia. After high school, I got into Saint Petersburg State University to study computer science. Now I live in the Netherlands.

I like music; I enjoy playing the guitar and learning to play the piano as well. I am also fond of conversations on culture, society, ethics, philosophy, and other exciting topics. I like walking around the cities and countryside and enjoying nature and architecture. I find pleasure in gastronomy and cooking.

I haven't travelled a lot yet, but I love it so far and plan to visit many places around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is an excellent opportunity to meet amazing people all over the world and learn more about the culture of different countries. I’m sure that CS is not about finding free apartments and saving money, but is about exploring the whole world: cities, nature, people, cultures, languages, history, and so forth.
