ABOUT ME

I'm a nice guy from Germany, after school I did my substitutional civil service so as not to join the army. During that, I lived in a house on an island in the river Rhine, surrounded by 3 kilometers of forest around me, for nine months, working in a so-called "Centre for Environmental Protection" in Karlsruhe, next to all sorts of wild boars, deer and lots of these mean, tiny animals that try to tease you whenever they can. I made bonfires and charcoal with children, cut grass with a scythe, cut trees, all sorts of funny things. I really enjoyed it!
From september on I will study "European Studies" at Maastricht university in the Netherlands and it is going to be incredibly good! It's really what I want to do!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I made an Interrail-Eurotrip with a friend of mine, we often stayed with couchsurfers and met so many incredibly nice, strange and funny people from all over the world! Unbelievable!

Intereses

If it's strange be assured that I love it!
Travelling, especially Europe
Reading everything that happens to meet my eyes
Music (Jazz, Blues and everything else)
Food (I try to try as many things as possible and I really enjoy cooking)
Politics, history, society
Accents and dialects (I love the way people speak!)
And of course I mostly enjoy having a good time with a bunch of friends around me!

Films. Everything the Coen-Brothers do, Tarantino is good as well, old Italo-Westerns, Monty Python-stuff and lots of German movies.
Music. True old Bluesmen like Robert Johnson, Sonny Terry, Blind Willie Johnson. Psychedelic classics, Pink Floyd, Doors, LZ, Cream. Folk (Cash, Carter, Dylan and things). Classical (especially Wagner, Dvorak, Chopin, Liszt) and everything else as long as it is made with passion!
