ABOUT ME
My name is Valentino, and I'm an Italian student of oriental studyes, I enjoy learning new languange, also very far from english, like mandarin chinese or tibetan, I think they can give you new way to look at the world, new lessic, syntax, metaphor and so on. I love biking and make hike in the mountains of my country, the better way to live (and to travel) is with a good friend, one with you can share experience. I live in Rome, not in the center but near the seaside very close to a tiny pine-tree forest.
PHILOSOPHY
I have no personal philosophy, I'm an eclectic. I prefer to be totally open minded, so I try to understand all the things that surrounds me. I don't belive in dogma, or in rules, that thinghs give you only one lense throughwhich you have to look at the world, and I really don't want to have just one way to look at the wanderful ideas, places, things that are hidden everywhere. I love reading, hiking, writing, for me this trhee attidude rapresent my personale way to think and meditate and contemplate.
Interests
I love hiking in the mountains like Appennin just with a small tent, a couple of friend and a good fire where to cook our meal!
Sometimes I'd to hitchike and I want to continue to travel in such a good way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to search in literature a model, and the thoughs, desires of the people that have lived before. I love English literature that, by my opinion is able to recreate in the best way the oniric world, I appreciate for example thomas de quiency, stevenson, Lord Dunsany. Of the Americans, one of the my favourite is Jhon Fante, and off course Keruac, Gregory Corso (he was half guappo!), Heminguey, Jack London (I suggest to everyone ''the iron heel'').
I also appreciate the Spanish and Latin American literature: Antonio Byois Cesares, Borges are the my favourite. I think the ''aleph'' is a masterpiece.
And because of my studyes I have had to take a look of the gorgeusly vast chinese literature: wu'cheng'en ''white monkey'' (sorry for the wide-giles transcription), ''the dream of red room'' (honglou meng), of the chinese literary production I love Zhuang-zi, a book that I really appreciate, with all that metaphors, and aphorism, and paradoxis
How do not talk about poetry?
Dante's ''Divina commedia'', Gabriel Garcia Lorca, Basho (a japanese writers of Haiku) and so on.
I coul talk of literature for hous but I dont want to make you bored.

Teach, Learn, Share
My grandfather was a blacksmith, or something in the middle way between a hardware seller and a blacksmith (the medieval one)so I learned how to weld, and fix iron things. I'm also quiete skilled in fixing bicycle, vice versa I don't understand anithing about engine. I also know how to cut the branches of the olive tree, and how to do a little bit of gardening in general.
