I grew up in a calm little town in Ukraine and during my first trip to the States as an exchange student I discovered how awesome and versatile the world is and decided I never want to stop travelling ) Since then I've been to Turkey, India, China and Egypt and hope to see so much more.
I live in Lviv, a beautiful old city in western Ukraine and I just finished my second education: the first one majoring in painting, the second - in art history and art management. I've switched a dozen jobs of all kinds from painting and book translations to modeling and coordinating, you name it) Right now I'm a head of QA department in a software company. I like my job and I love the great people I work with)
I'm lucky that my boyfriend is as easy-going as me and we can just grab backpacks and go, see new things, meet new people, above all - be happy because that's what life is for ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been abroad on work trips and on vacation but often in that case you see the world from a tourists point of view while the locals' parks, caffes and shops which are in fact the REAL culture of the country stay unseen. I'm hoping that couchsurfing can help me meet new people who will show me the REAL France, the REAL Belgium, the REAL world )

Interests

I love to travel and learn languages. I like reading and movies that make you think and contemplate. I love art, especially the non-commented kind )
I like animals of all kinds)
I also love the girly stuff - shoes, nails, jewls - what's not to love ))
Traveling is the winner though - I thing the brightest moments of our life, the strongest feelings, the funnest times are those spend in traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a kid I listenned to classical music on our old gramophone.
And when I grew up, to the horror of my musician mom, started listening to hip hop and soul. I also like indian, arabic, african and turkish ethno music, I love the motives.
I like detective books - they are the funnest to read. I think I've read all there was of Agatha Cristie and Georges Simenon.
