One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one's not that amazing, but truly is remarkable:

In the February of 2010 I went to Niagara Falls (Canadian side) from Washington DC to see the falls in snow, and many things happened all at once...
1) I missed the 5A bus from Rosslyn to Dulles airport; I car-pooled with a couple at the station so we caught the flight at last;
2) After I landed in Buffalo Airport, I took the bus to central Buffalo and was intended to transfer to a bus going to Niagara Falls. Of course, I missed the later bus again; the next bus arrived at 9:05pm.
3) My phone's out of battery.
4) I finally got off the bus at 10pm. It was snowing and I was carrying 3 bags and I need to find the way, so it took me half an hour to get to the immigration customs at the Rainbow bridge.
5) The woman at the immigration customs wouldn't let me pass so we sort of argued for 10 minutes (why the heck should I take bank statement with me while I'm traveling?);
6) I finally made it through the customs and then I found that I lost the sheet with my hostel address...
