About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make a difference in this world. To know myself and others better through communication.

ABOUT ME

I am reliable, what I say is what I do. I am honest, caring, compassionate and I just love people from all walks of life. I'm easy going but not a push over. I'm interested in all people. I love arts and crafts but am not into sport. I enjoy making things and being creative. I love inspiring others to reach their potential. I rarely plan and just take each day as it comes, but I do have high spiritual ideals though I do not follow any religion. I get on well with people of all denominations and cultures. I just love meeting people and exchanging ideas and learning each from the other. What you see is what you get. No airs and graces. I am what I am.

PHILOSOPHY

Thoughts are living things, use them wisely. Don't read a book by it's cover read it first. I believe in re-incarnation and karma, so believe that we should learn from our past mistakes and continue to evolve in all aspects of our lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in this world by giving my time to others, whether it is to listen to them, exchange ideas, doing voluntary work, teaching from my own experiences of life. Time is a valuable gift and I give it willingly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently had my first CS experience which was brilliant. Prior to that I met people on Yahoo and have gone off to Egypt, Pakistan, India, Senegal and Nigeria to stay with them and had some wonderful experiences.

Interests

Arts & Crafts, making home made greetings cards, recycling carrier bags to turn them into beads then necklaces. Volunteering with various groups particularly asylum seekers and refugees. Some African Drumming. Walking in nice parks. Eating out occasionally. Definitely traveling. Getting to know people from other cultures. Crop Circles. Knitting. Cooking. I'm currently writing my auto biography.

Music, Movies, and Books

Master Path books and DVDs. Thoughts are Things by Prentice Mulford it is a very old book but I know that what he says is correct from my own experiences. World music, reggae, some country, 60s, 70, 80s.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled alone to Pakistan in a wheelchair to meet people I had met on Yahoo. I had a wonderful time especially when I traveled into Kuwait when everyone was leaving because the Iraq war had just started.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach how to make greetings cards. Teach about thoughts and attitudes. Learn new crafts. Share experiences. Share esoteric knowledge.
