Hello everybody! We are Oscar, 37, export department worker and construction worker before and Julie, 31, pharmacist. We are from France.
In order to discover Oceania and to improve our English we decided to travel through Australia and New Zealand for 15 months approximately. We arrived in New Zealand in October after 9 months in Australia and traveled through your country staying in many places using Helpx (work in exchange of food and accommodation). That was a wonderful experience to share our lives with local people and families and it would be great to do the same as couch surfers in Christchurch for the rest of our travel in New Zealand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We traveled last 14 months in Australia and New Zealand using Helpx (work in exchange of food and accommodation), it was a great experience to share our day to day with local people and we've met a lot of lovely people.
We think that meeting people during your travels is essential, that makes all the difference between travelling and just moving.
In the future I would like to host people in Europe as we reckon that's a kind of access to the whole world while you're not travelling.
