I would like to travel around the world anyday, so I think Couchsurfing is a good way to contact with local people and discover interesting stories about any place.

I also want to show people from other cultures a little bit of mine. In Piura, I'm able to welcome a cool visitor who wants to know about good spots to drink a beer, to see the sunset, etc.

Centres d'intérêt

I am really interested in good stories. I think that photography let me show the world my point of view about a culture, groups of people, social issues, etc. I would like to travel around the world with my camera and my notebook.

I am also interested in arts, literature, poetry and nice music. I really love to talk about history of rock.

One of the things I am interested the most is cooking. I really, really, really love cooking. I am proud of the peruvian gastronomy. I also love to discover new recipes from all over the world. So, if you want to have a good lunch or diner at home I'll be always disposed to share good ideas in the kitchen and enjoy a really good meal.

From 2008 to 2011 I spent the most of my weekends in the beach because I love to go bodyboarding. My favorite beach in Piura is Lobitos. It is a magical place, where anybody could spend a really nice time enjoying good waves and barrels and sharing with surfers and bodyboarders from all over world. Lobitos is a beach full of peace.

I really love rock music. As I said before, history of rock is one of my passions. Some of my favorite musicians/ bands are Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Lou Reed, The Beatles, The Who, The Beach Boys, Charly García, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Patti Smith, Television, Joy Division, Los Planetas, etc.

I also enjoy the music of comtemporary artists like Tame Impala, Temples, Benjamin Clementine, Preoccupations, Kurt Vile, The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Love of Lesbian, El Mató a un Policía Motorizado, etc.

My favorite film directors are Jean Luc Godard, Martin Scorsese, Billy Wilder, Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Bahman Ghobadi, Darren Aronofsky, Eliseo Subiela, Julio Medem, etc.

My favorite writers/ poets are Jack Kerouac, F. Scott Fitzgerald, J.D. Salinger, Ernesto Sábato, Gabriel García Márquez, Alfredo Bryce Echenique, Julio Ramón Ribeyro, Abraham Valdelomar, Federico García Lorca, César Vallejo, Arthur Rimbaud, Wiliam Blake, Ángel González, Javier Heraud, Pablo Neruda, etc.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Learning bodyboard was a great experience for me. I could discover a very close connection with nature.

It could sounds strange, but one of the best moments in my life was when I saw snowing for the first time. It was in Wisconsin, USA. I recently arrived there and I had never seen snowing before. It was a very emotional moment when I got a snow flake in my finger for the first time.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I think I am good for teaching about cooking. I love to share my vision about it. I also could teach about photography.

I would like to learn about self sustaining communities. I believe in a better way of living in our planet. I think human being should recover some abilities from the pre-industrial era. Nowadays, the most of the people has lost the liking for doing basic things by themselves. I meant, thing like seeding our own plants, building our own houses or baking our own bread are almost forgotten because we live in the era of specialization.
