I’m Oscar! I’m new to couchsurfing and travelling which is making the concept ever so exciting. I’m interested in all facets of life and would like to call my travels the “ bubble and squeak odyssey.” No exact ingredients, just chuck in whatever you can find and go with it. Whether that be camping in the north Icelandic tundra after meeting with a group of Scandinavian hiking enthusiasts, dining with glamour in Times Square after winning a trip to New York advertised on a coke bottle, or clubbing away in north Sydney’s nightclubs coz I spend too much time writing up these couchsurfing profiles instead of actually going anywhere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on couch surfing because I want to explore the world and have a little fun. I believe travel is the only way to learn about the world. We see pictures on google images, hear about it from other people’s stories and watch films located in exotic locations but we cannot rely on our judgements drawn from these sources to gain life fulfilment because real life experiences are unrecognisable to expectation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Found two £5 notes on the ground, on two consecutive days. In fact, whilst I was pondering about the delights of my initial £5 discovery, I stumbled across the second. Talk about ask and it is given!

Teach, Learn, Share

As a fluent English speaker I can develop English speaking abilities through natural conversation for anyone wishing / needing to learn.

I am also interested in philosophy and would love to share these forms of discussion with other people.
I’m a good writer and would help hosts or other couch surfers develop projects such as travel blogs. My skills would format the blog whilst my experiences can contribute to its content.

I will share my bubbly personality with whomever is out for a good time.
