About Me

Hello everybody!

It has been a while since I last been active on Couchsurfing. A few years ago I was surfing in Thailand and Vietnam and it was incredible. Now after been based in Sydney for almost 5 years I am on the road again and I would love to do more couchsurfing.

At the moment I am travelling around south east Asia with no plans. I take day by day as it comes and I am excited what this trip has to offer!

I am raised and born in Sweden with parents from both Sweden and Thailand. I moved to Sydney, Australia 2014 and I have recently decided to move back to Sweden - but before I move back it is time to do some more travelling first. WOOOHOO!

If anyone want to meet up for a little adventure, a drink, a museum visit or anything exciting - hit me up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a brilliant way to make friends all around the world. I'm here to meet locals in different countries as opposed to staying in crowded hostels with travellers from my own cultural sphere. However, I still love hostels!

Interests

FOOD. Traveling, movies, adventure activities: skydive, snorkling, hiking etc, chill & drink evenings. I love to sleep as well, who doesn't?

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I'm that kind of guy who likes all music but I am a BIG fan of techno and festivals!
MOVIES: I love Harry Potter & Lord of The Rings.
BOOKS: Same as above ;) Evertyhing between fantasy, teenage sci-fi & dystopia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The experience that has left the biggest impression until now was when I lived in Australia. At that time I was 18 years old and it was the first time for me to travel by myself. Seeing such a different culture and customs at that age can leave a big impression in you and it has shaped me to who I am today!

Another amazing thing that I've done and actually doing right now at this very presence is to meet new people. To be surrounded by incredible people who inspire and teach me how to be a better version of myself every day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and Swedish. Even though I'm young I have lots to talk about. For me it's important to highlight personalities that can be silly & joyful but also adaptable to see things through a serious perspective. Everything isn't black and white.

I believe that strenght and happiness must come from within every individual. I can be that helping hand who listens and encourage people to see things on the bright side. I have a way of seeing the beauty in others, even when that person can't see it in themselves. I believe in you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Positive energy, joy and culture!
As I previously mention in my profile I'm still pretty new to Couchsurfing.
I would love to cook something from my own culture and tell things about my country that people usually don't know about.

There is a lot of things that differs between Sweden and other countries, even though Sweden is pretty similar to the rest of the western world.

So far I've surfed and hosted once, and both times was amazing!

I had an awesome time in Ho Chi Minh City together with my host and his friends when I surfed for the first time. My host in Vietnam showed me around the city, we went out to have some drinks, we cooked together and we laught everytime we encountered culture differences.

I hosted a person from Couchsurfing for the first time when I lived in Bangkok. I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time.
My first surfer was from New Zealand and he had travelled in America and Europe for one year, his last stop was Bangkok and Asia. He was suppose to stay just for 5 days but since we enjoyed each other's company he stayed for a couple of weeks until the day he took his flight home.

My two first Couchsurf experiences have inspired me to open up my doors. I want to meet new people and make strangers into friends.
