Music, Movies, and Books
I like pretty much every kind of music. If you want to get into Peruvian music, I'm your man. Know almost every single artist from the 20's til now. From psychedelic punk to cumbia and tondero. You in?
I'm a filmmaker and indie films have my heart. There's so much I could say about films but I could bore you.
Same with books. I'd go for Latin American literature, Peruvian poetry and Hesse. Roberto Bolaño is also one of my favorite writers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've published a poetry book (Ella, 2015)
About to publish a second one (Canción Eterna, 2018)
I've made some short films. You can stalk me: www.zemarti.com
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make quick or long city tours in Lima if you're willing to meet the real face of the city. Bar-hopping tours are my favorites, we can find lots of different pisco drinks and craft beer. Also be prepared to face Inkaria, 'the Peruvian Jagermeister'.
Also, if I have time, I can take you to a small trip in the mountain area of Lima (Huancaya, Marcahuasi, Rupac, Lunahuaná) or tell you how to get there (try googling some pictures, places are amazing and are not well promoted!)
I'm a native Spanish speaker and also speak English very fluently, some French and a bit of Portuguese. Willing to help with some Spanish classes if needed.
Want to learn some photography basics for your trip? I'm your guy. We could also go into some filmmaking, but that could take longer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring you a signed poetry book and some local food form my city.
