About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Always searching, people and things admiring
ABOUT ME
I have always believed in resposible disobedience. Not just disobedience for the hell of it, but disobedience with the purpose of changing this maddening world into a better place. Maybe that's the reason why I am a human-centred rebel, because I believe in the revolution of the human mind and the human heart to achieve nearly everything.
As for the rest, I'm creatively a skeptical, open-minded, outgoing, fun-loving, thrill-seeking man who's content enough to live a life full of wonderful contradictions.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is an open road so there's no point to stop for good as long as you are young. Youth terminates when you stop dreaming no matter how old you are. So dream on, my brother, dream on for a future of no frontiers for those who dream and travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can offer my experience in life, in love, in hate, or in funny games with skepticism. I can offer it for the road. I'm also open to hear from others what their dreams are, and if they want to let out some of their frustrations - my friends say I'm an excellent listener, too.
Also, I can give you directions to explore this under-rated part of the world. Castile is a unique part of human history.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great so far, as all I've found are wonderful people who have reshaped my expections of human kindness. CS is one of the best ways to get to know people and exchange experiences that I know of. I haven't hosted yet and I'm really looking forward to it, so if anybody happens to drop by Almansa, don't hesitate and be my guest!
Interests
Experiencing life to the full, both on my own and in the company of sympathetic others.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: crime novel, 19th century realism, Paul Auster, Herman Hesse, José Saramago, García Márquez, Nick Hornby, Ian McEwan, Jack Kerouack, Charles Bukowski, Stieg Larsson (yes, I'm a fanatic of Lisbeth Salander!!) and many other postmodernist narratives.
Films: Woody Allen, Ingmar Bergman, Pedro Almodóvar, Stanley Kubrick, Roman Polanski are my all times directors.
Music: it depends so much on my mood: I can listen to The Killers, The Muse, The Editors, The Cranberries, Placebo, Red Hot Chilli Peppers or Camara Obscura for miles on end. But I'm also classic-oriented and I have a strong predeliction for symphonies, concerts and operas, especially of the romantic and post-romantic period. I like other styles like jazz or soul but I find it more difficult to give names.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sunset at Roman Forums eating the most gorgeous ice-cream ever.
Childhood flashbacks in the hubby streets of Marraketch.
Tears in my eyes as I saw night-lit Manhattan on Staten Island ferry.
Sunrise wandering about Monument Valley and contemplating the Three Sisters.
Endless roads for endless dreams in the American far west.
Sunrise at East River as cab drove me home after wild night in Midtown Manhattan with Margaret and other friends whose names I don't remember and whose company I'll never forget.
The joy of my students as they see London for the first time year after year.
The company of my life-long partner as each day goes by and we take one further step in this fabulous journey.

Hold on to an impulse when it comes to see the world. Listen to your heart, place it by your head and let it guide your feet.
