Born in Paris, I lived my childhood in Rambouillet, a middle-town at 50 km from Paris. Between 2009 to 2016, which correspond to the beginning of my studies and my first jobs, I lived in the 15th district of Paris.

I have a sister, two years younger than me, also living in Paris. Most of the time, I am someone calm (except when the party starts of course). I am passionate, curious and I like to discuss with people from all generation.

I love to discover new places, new cultures and to discover all wonderful and strange things from this world :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people and share my passions with them. I'm really open minded and really curious about the people I have the pleasure to meet. I'm always enthusiastic to learn more about their passions, their ideas and the journey they've lived.

I was working in the IT sector since 3 years now, and I recently quit my job. I was in a huge company (Accenture) specialised in IT services for multiple kind of activities. I left because I was not doing the job I like and I had the feeling I was sticking in my career and more generally, in my life. I didn't wanted to search immediatly for a job because I wanted to take the time to make a journey I had dreamed since a long time.

Therefore, I started to prepare a project to travel during one year in different countries that I always wanted to see. Everything is now set, and I am traveling between the 20th october of 2016 and the 1st of september 2017 throught Autralia, New-Zealand, French Polynesia, Chili, Colombia, Equator, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Cuba and the west of Canada.

Through this journey, I decided for once not to plan everything and to take the opportunity to know some new people and follow their recommandations to make this journey a human adventure above all.

Interests

Since my childhood, I am entirely passioned by movies and photography. Earlier, I had the time to make movies but when I started my studies, I had to make choices. I am skilled drummer and I played in a band of friends between 2008 and 2014. I recently put all my musical projects in "Stand by" to devote myself in the learning of dancing (rock n roll, salsa, and others).

I love coocking. Gastronomic pleasures have a major role in my life ! I'm also an occasionnal singer and dancer.

In France, I am riding everyday my motorcycle, a Honda CBF 600 naked, it give me a feeling of infinite freedom.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am listening to almost every kind of music. It is really difficult for me to give my favorites. Also because I am listening to different kinds of music depending of the season or my actual mood. Recently, I listen to latin music (reggaeton, salsa), electro, movie's music and classical music.

I rarely read books, despite myself. Yet I like to read. The last books that marked me include: Foundation (Isaac Asimov), La vérité sur l’affaire Harry Quebert (Joël Dicker), La Bête Humaine (Emile Zola), Voyage au bout de la nuit (L.F. Céline), Le Petit Prince (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry).

Teach, Learn, Share

During my 2016-2017 trip, I hope to have multiple opportunity to learn spanish. In south america, I would like to invest myself in some local jobs, something far different to what I was doing in France. Any kind of "manual" skills interest me.

I love teaching all that I already know to people who have thirst for knowledge: french and german language, basics of salsa dancing, everything related to music recording, playing drums, treatments of photos, taking photos, video editing, basics of programation, some cooking tips !
