About Me

CURRENT MISSION
After travelling through some other countries I'd like to explore some more of the UK as I've been to about 5% of it!

ABOUT ME
"The mind that has conceived a plan of living, must never lose sight of the chaos against which that pattern was conceived"
I'm here, sometimes dancing, sometimes stumbling through this beautiful chaos. I try to listen as best I can to my inner voice and it leads me to some pretty interesting places and situations. at the moment my pace is one step at a time.
I'm interested in change in every sense of the word and don't draw a distinction between personal and world wide. Periods of introversy are pretty equal to periods of the extrovert in my life. I love writing and spending a day listening to quiet music, but I would go insane if I didn't; party, dance, learn from others, make new friends, escape, perform, , wonder through new environments, be silly, stare at the ocean, (hug trees!) stretch!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that it's important to connect with people, to trust people, to feel like we are not so different from one another, to be able to welcome someone into my home or to be welcomed into someone else's. I have a lot of trust in people and it expands more and more. Just like when I hitch hike, I never know who could pick me up. But it's always a positive experience! Through couchsurfing I want my trust for people and their trust for me to expand.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books- On The Road, The Dharma Bums, Speed, the Catcher In the Rye, Nine Stories, Nineteen Eighty Four, the Count of Monte Cristo, Brave New World, Animal Farm, Betrayal, Into the Wild.

Music- Hmmm I like a mixture of stuff depending what mood I'm in. Here are a random few: Xavier Rudd, Johnny Flynn, Dizreali And The Small Gods, Kate Tempest, Fat Freddys Drop, Bob Marley, Bonobo, Emancipator, Jon Hopkins, The Staves, Laura Marling, Sigur Ros, Toots and the Maytals, Parov Stelar, Jam Baxter, Jehst, Mos Def, Lauryn Hill, Lewis Parker, Ben Howard, Angus & Julia Stone, Bon Iver, Michael Kiwanuka, John Marytn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Breaking into Glastonbury Festival. That was pretty cool! I hitch hiked from Devon to the town of Glastonbury, camped in a near by field, arose early on a wholesome breakfast of cold beans and crisps and preceded to meet an elusive man I'd never met who was supposedly going to smuggle me in. Managed to talk my way through quite a few check points on the pretense I was going to meet someone who had my ticket, then met my man and he smuggled me through the " impenetrable" check point. Had a wicked time. Then had to hitch hike home recovering from the 5 day Glastonbury experience. Don't get scared by the 12 wall, it's not that hard and has to be tried if you like festivals!
