I'm an engineering student from Mexico living for a year in Madrid. I'm doing a master's here. Besides studying, I have a challenge: visit 12 countries within a lapse of 12 months. So far, I have been to Spain (duh), France, England, Italy, the Czech Republic, Portugal, and Ireland. Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, among others are in my list (I accept suggestions).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

While traveling and staying in hostels and hotels is fun and affordable, it is only through the eyes of locals that you get to see the heart of a city. Also, I am tired of traveling alone, so I believe hosts could also join me in this adventure if possible. Luckily enough, my only CS experiences have been as a host, and I have had a great time showing people around town and sharing whatever I know about Madrid.

Intereses

Engineering and Music are my two passions. I love my career and I am a (semi) pro musician. Provide a guitar and I can provide some sort of entertainment. Seriously, I haven't played a guitar since I left Mexico, I could really use one ;)

I love Audrey Hepburn movies. Comedies and action films are also among my favorites. My guilty pleasure are romantic comedies. I am a binge-watcher of series like: GoT, The Americans, Breaking Bad, etc.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The one I am currently proud of is visiting the "Three Durangos". My city: Durango in Mexico... Durango, Colorado in the USA... and Durango in Spain... The last one was almost impossible, considering I never intended to visit Europe.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

The answer to all three: Food. All jokes aside, I can teach you how to cook Mexican using whatever we can find at the supermarket. I would love to learn everything about the cities I visit, especially the language. I can share tons of stories and my addiction to play music.
