I was born in Mexico, City and I was raised up north in Chihuahua, I did my studies in between Chihuahua/Monterrey/USA/France/Spain, so I can say I became a traveler by decision around 17 years ago and stayed a traveler because of work, so the last 7 years of my life I have been able to travel and work at the same time. What I like the most about all the traveling is the people I have met along the way, that is what made the experiences more fruitful and will make them last longer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never been really avid on the couchsurfing community, but I have met lots of couchsurfers, I have hosted many people where ever I lived, but nothing has been officially through couchsurfing.

I am here to keep meeting people, and if I can help somebody out, why not, I am open to go on daily tours, talks, share experiences, share a cup of coffee or a good beer, practice other language and help other practice a new one

Interests

I love traveling, sports, specially football and I mean (soccer) not to be confused, but basically I like all kind of sports (still struggling to understand rugby and cricket) but I am open to have a discussion on those and why not learn about them.
I really like cooking, I see my self as a very practical guy, I like to experiment with whatever ingredients I have on hand

Music, Movies, and Books

Music... I can listen to anything, but I think I am old style, I like rock from the 60s, I listen to a lot of old mexican singers, I enjoy country song stories but I can listen to some rap too and also I can say I enjoy salsa, cumbia, merengue and all kind of latin music that can be danced..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to work for the world's largest Chocolate company, I think is the most amazing thing I have ever done, being able to see all the process of the chocolate making and the final result of course is amazing.. and delicious

Teach, Learn, Share

I always enjoy teaching people some spanish lessons, some salsa and bachata moves, some mexican cooking tips and recipes. I like to share about my country , I always encourage people to visit Mexico, I really think is an amazing country to visit, even myself when I go back I try to visit something new.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my travel experiences, tips on do's and dont's when traveling, I can share good mexican cooking, it's always a pleasure to cook for somebody, it is something that most of the people like.. to eat, so I can offer some good deals :)
