Overview
About Me
Just back from a 3 year trip to Costa Rica. My family owns a small hotel in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. More than willing to reciprocate with a place to stay in Costa Rica for any generosity extended.

Used to think I was a Steve Urkel type.
Gawky Glasses.
Nerdy Knowledge.
High Water Pants.
Commodore 64.
Dungeons and Dragons.
Well Spoken, First Generation American born to Costa Rican parents in Brooklyn, New York.
At a certain point, you get over the apprehension of being something other than yourself and you settle into your skin.
Your intelligence and quirkiness aren't drawbacks.
They are what MAKE YOU the BEST YOU.
I love music of all kinds, and I love art and artists. I used to work in live music in NYc, helped hundreds of bands take the stage (also, to get off the stage by the end of their set).
I made a bunch of casual video games a lifetime ago.
Once upon a time, I went on a tour of the United States ... It was the Summer before 9/11... and was able to meet Americans from all walks of life.
I honestly believe that despite our differences, all people want the same things.
Comfort, Friendship, New and Positive experiences and Adventures.
I am liberal in my attitudes and philosophies. I believe that all people are created equal, and it is our decisions that define who we are.
I love discussion and honest debate.
I love reading, but I love audio books more.
I enjoy eating food. I am a decent cook. But its all improv.
Looking forward to seeing America again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After a long time in Costa Rica, I have returned to the USA. I want to get to know my fellow Americas from all walks of life. I hope this helps me decide where next to settle down.
I'm currently planning on spending time in the Denver region, and hope to make a go of staying in the area until next winter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Designed 10 computer games that were played by millions of people... I even MET one person at random. It was surreal... but it was the dot com era.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've done a little bit of everything, so its hard to pin down. I'm good at research. So if you need someone to help figure out where to start figuring something out... I can do that.
Computers. Spanish.

Good conversation, positive energy, genuine empathy, no drama (seriously, I hope that goes both ways).
