Fix motorcycles! Walk the dogs! Garden! Fix the house! You know... life....
Travel when I can, host when I can't.
ABOUT ME
I'm a simple person. I've traveled a lot and have loads of stories and a few jokes. I was in the Army as an Arabic interpreter during the first gulf war and that was pretty surreali. I've sold safety equipment in Saudi Arabia, been a network admin in Diego Garcia (lovely place that!), software trainer in Germany and most recently a hostel owner/manager. I also volunteer my time to mentor a pre-teen or teenager through Big Brothers/Big Sisters, which is a wonderful program.
Currently deciding on retiring to some cheap place (Bali, Vietnam, Uruguay), doing TEFL and volunteering, or buying property in Hawaii and setting up some tiny homes to fund retirement.
PHILOSOPHY
Live simply so that others may simply live.
"Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today." - James Dean
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A day trip in Iceland with a group, we wanted to reach a waterfall, but for that we had to cross a lots of big rivers, so everybody helped each other, so we could make it! I loved how we had to do it all together to make it !
Also, one week trip with no money at all, just living thanks to sharing and wild nature, I’ve rarely felt that free in my life!
And finally, the new adventure of my life is to be a exchange student in Lebanon!
